Cutest Lil Monkey

Colton's Mommy messaged me a few days ago and asked me about doing a session with him. She had newborn photos done by another photographer and wasn't happy with them and hoped for a "re-do" with hats and props. I explained to Melissa that we couldn't do a true newborn session but was confident we could capture some sweet poses that she'd cherish. Although Colton, and most other babies at this age are wiggly and busy stretching their arms and legs (and do not like to be tightly wrapped like newborns in a true newborn session (2 to 14 days old)), modifying the wrap to a loose look helped him settle comfortably and allowed him to relax. Here's a little B&W sneak peek of the Behind the Scenes as I was positioning him and then one more of this cute lil monkey! What a joy it was to work with Colton this morning. I can't wait to edit the rest of his session and show his Mommy! Til then....
