15 Days New -- KaLeigh

When I worked as a hospital newborn photographer, I got to see alot of babies...itty bitty babies to the big "chunkers" that weighed in around 10 pounds (or more!). Since I started photographing newborns with Celebrate These Moments Photography, I haven't seen many babies that were not at least 6 or 7 pounds at birth. But today I got to cuddle a sweet little baby girl that weighed in at 5 pounds 11 ounces when she was born just 15 days ago. She's already up to just over 6 pounds but she looks so tiny and petite. Makes me miss the days when my own babies were little (but I never had a baby this little). She was so sweet, smiling in her dreamland during her session and was the perfect little model today. I'm so thankful that her Mommy chose me to photograph her and am glad I was able to capture some sweet images of this precious baby so that she and her family can look back and remember to always Celebrate These Moments!
